What you're actually buying
- The hardware is real The sample was shown running on camera at the factory, and Batch 1 is on the production line now. Every photo here is the real machine, not a render.
- Dates can move Lead times and freight can move a ship date by a week or two. Every change gets posted here and emailed to you.
- Mining is a lottery Solo mining pays in whole blocks or not at all. 12 TH/s gives you a real, recurring shot at one. It does not guarantee one.
- Difficulty and price move Bitcoin difficulty and price both affect what this earns. We publish honest expectations and never quote you an ROI.
Questions people ask
What am I paying, and when?
The batch price, in full, at checkout. That is what funds the production run your unit is built in. You get a full refund any time before your unit ships, no questions asked.
How much power does it pull?
About 160W at the wall from an external power supply, less than most gaming laptops under load. Any normal outlet works.
How is this different from an open board miner?
The P3 is the closed case pick of the Thor line: plug and play, dual touch screens, no exposed board. If you would rather tinker with an open unit, that is the Thor P2.
Do I need my own Bitcoin node?
No. Point it at your own node, or at an open solo pool. Either way the payout address is yours. No pool cut, no custodian.
What if I change my mind?
Refunds are allowed, always. You get a full refund any time before your unit ships, no questions asked. Once it has shipped, the standard return policy applies.
Where does it ship, and when?
Worldwide. Batch 1 ships from the end of October. That date moves only if production does, and we post it when that happens.
