4DSKY Setup Guide

4DSKY Setup Guide

This guide will show you how to setup the Airsquitter for 4DSKY.

1) Open the Airsquitter box and connect the small black antenna. In the position in the photo.

2) Now take the OPA-5-GPS ADS-B 1090MHz antenna. (Important that it's the correct one!). There's a label at the bottom of the antenna to confirm this. Attach the long black cable to it and then connect it to the port on the right near the power supply.

3) Connect the last antenna with the other black cable.

4) Connect the network cable to the back of the unit and into your router. Then connect the power supply. If you want to use WiFi we will set this up later. You NEED to use the network cable the first time regardless.

5) Once the unit has booted up visit: http://air-squitter.local/ If that doesn't work. press the button on the front of the Airsquitter several times until you see the LAN page.

When you see the LAN page, enter the first IP address into your browser and press enter. In this case it's 192.168.2.115, but this may change depending on your network configuration.

6) You can now log into the dashboard.

The username is Administrator and password is radarcape

7) If you want to use WiFi we need to enable it in the settings. You can do that by going to settings in the top menu. Then select network.

In the wireless config section. Select Wireless Client.
For Name (SSID), enter your wifi network name.

Password, your wifi network password.

Select Automatic DHCP.

Then select Change settings.

Now you can place those antennas outside as high as you can so nothing blocks their line of sight to aircrafts for best results. Or continue with the setup and place them outside later on.

8) Visit https://explorer.neuron.world/ When here click on the top right corner person. Then press register at the bottom.

9) Fill the form and register. Agree to the terms.

10) Press on Devices in the top menu. Then press Add device.

11) Name it what ever you wish. Then press Next.

12) For Device Role, choose Service Provider.

13) For Device. Select the Jetvision Airsquitter.

14) At the bottom press Add Service.

15) Make sure Service says: ADSB_ENTRERPRISE. Then press Next.

16) HBAR will be set to 1. Press Next.

17) Review the settings and press Next.

18) If you don't see a new entry at the bottom, try it again. When it works you will see this.

19) When you see the new line added, press Register Device.

You will know this worked when it is greyed out. Refresh the page if it's been awhile and press it again if it didn't work. This is a successful registration.

20) We are going to need to visit the IP of the Airsquitter. You can find this in Step 5. The IP in our example is: 192.168.2.115. Do this in another tab!
