How To Setup The Bitaxe Gamma 602 1.5TH/s
Follow each step below to complete the guide.
Connect the power supply.
Connect the barrel jack on the miner to the power supply first! Then connect the power supply to the wall.
NOTE: When unplugging the unit, always do it from the wall first then the unit second. This prevents problems.
Connect to WiFi.
After about a minute or two you should see a new WiFi network called Bitaxe. Join it.
Fill in the Info.
A captive portal will popup after joining the WiFi network. You can leave Hostname alone or change it to something like BitaxeGamma602.
Wi-Fi SSID needs to be your home wifi network. And Wi-Fi password, is the password.
Then press save, and restart.
Visit the dashboard.
After the unit reboots you will see a screen that shows the IP address to the miner. If you don’t see the screen right away you can press the boot button on the side to cycle through the screens or just wait for it to show up. Type this IP into your web browser.
Almost done!
So the unit has been setup. The next thing we want to do is setup the mining pool so you can start to solo mine some BTC.
