Harlo OS is our own firmware, built from scratch. It replaces the software your miner shipped with and gives the same hardware things it could never do before. Free, and it installs in about two minutes.
Built to measure, not to guess
Most miners grade their own homework. The number on the screen is calculated by the same machine that wants to look good, and the power figure is usually an estimate that has never met your wall. Harlo OS takes both readings from somewhere that cannot be edited: a smart plug for power, and the shares your pool actually accepts for hash.

Plug the miner in
Take the screen off, or connect the USB port directly.
Erase and install
A progress bar, a minute or two, then unplug.
Power it up
Put the display back on and open the web interface.
