Beamable Checker Node Drop In 00:00:00:00 Live Now
Exclusive allocation before public release. Don’t miss out.
Overview
Beamable.Network is a decentralized backend platform (“DePIN for games”) that replaces traditional cloud game servers with a community-owned network. It provides compute, storage, and live-ops tools for game developers while rewarding node operators for supplying infrastructure.
The market for game backend and live-ops infrastructure is large, estimated at $5–6 billion in 2024, projected to grow to $15–20 billion by 2033, with Beamable targeting the ~$35 billion developers spend yearly on backend services.
Rewards Explanation
Here are the mechanisms by which Checker Nodes are rewarded in Beamable:
Emission rewards / token emissions:
Checker Nodes are allocated a portion of newly issued $BMB tokens (emissions) for participating in the protocol.
For example, in the first 12 months there is a base share (often 20% of total reward pool under “normal” conditions) allocated to Checker nodes.
Validation / service‐fee share:
When game workloads are executed, parts of fees (termed “validation fees”) flow to Checker Nodes as a reward for verifying correctness and availability.
The node’s share depends on performance, stake, and possibly commission settings.
Tiered / performance‐based bonuses:
Nodes that perform better (higher uptime, reliability, reputation) may get higher reward tiers or bonus multipliers.
The protocol is designed with a reputation system so that consistent, high-quality validators are incentivized.
Slashing / penalties:
If a Checker node misbehaves or fails checks (e.g. being offline or validating incorrectly), some of its stake or expected rewards can be slashed / penalized.
This ensures nodes have skin in the game to behave honestly.
