What is it?

The new SCRYPT home lottery miner is here. This first-of-its-kind device lets you solo mine or pool mine SCRYPT coins like Dogecoin and Litecoin right from home. With 105 MH/s of hashrate at only ~25 watts, it’s a super efficient, beginner-friendly way to start experimenting with SCRYPT mining.

History and market share.

Dogecoin launched in December 2013 as one of the very first memecoins. Today, it sits comfortably in the top-10 cryptocurrencies with a market cap around $22B. Love it or hate it, DOGE has seriously stood the test of time, it was born in an era before the wave of “get rich quick” tokens even existed.  


Litecoin is the other big SCRYPT coin people choose to mine on these devices. It’s actually the second crypto token ever, launched back in October 2011, right after Bitcoin. Its market cap is smaller (around $6–7B), but it’s still one of the most established, battle-tested networks in crypto, and it hangs around the top-20 tokens today.
