Wingbits data can be used by airlines, airports, and logistics companies to improve flight safety, tracking, and operational efficiency. Unlike centralized trackers, it expands global coverage and keeps data open for developers, researchers, and insurers.
Rewards Explanation
Base Rewards
Each coverage hex offers a pool of 24 $WINGS per day, as long as at least one station in that hex contributes 100+ positional messages that day.
This pool of 24 $WINGS is divided among qualified stations based on their performance in that hex.
Early Participant Rewards (EPR)
Currently, this time-limited bonus earns you 2 $WINGS per covered hex per day; this will drop 10% per year for 5 years after mainnet.
In order to receive this bonus, you must contribute at least 100 positional messages to the hex that day and beat the bottom 10th percentile of message counts per hex.
